I started painting professionally with my step dad, Larry Koster (February 18, 1949 - May 27, 2022) and co-worker Gary Burkett, on May 1, 1995, as St. Lawrence Painting here in Orlando, FL.
We originally were set up as a contractor using DURON paints, Hank was our guy over on Kirkman Road and Highway 50, I still have a few containers of the paints we used.
My friend Bud Evans III (gone, but not forgotten) was the person who recommended the name "Stingray" when I was looking for a business name when I went self-employed on October 8, 2020, and my mom, Melanie Seabrook, supported it - I looked for the name on Sunbiz and it was available...so I took it!
I prefer to use premium materials (BEHR Marquee / Dynasty), but sometimes, in order to keep costs down, I've used customer supplied materials that were already onsite.
I am Licensed and Insured in the State of Florida.
I quit smoking on December 31, 2022 and won't go back!
